Unesco World Heritage Wadden Sea exists 16 years and this will be celebrated on Saturday 28 June 2025 during the Day of the Wadden.

Together with local entrepreneurs, Visit Wadden and the Wadden Association will organise a breakfast on the dike at various locations in the Wadden area. During the breakfast, a Wadden guide will take you through a story about Wadden Sea World Heritage. What makes the Wadden Sea so special that it has Unesco status? What does it mean? And what is the importance of the Wadden Sea on a global scale?

Will you celebrate the Day of the Wadden? You can have breakfast on the dike along the Wadden coast from Den Helder to Termunterzijl, but of course also on the Wadden Islands. See the website for locations.
